
The Arab School for Science and
Technology celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary
the first of December 2003 under the high patronage of the Prime Minister of
the Syrian Arab Republic Mr. Mohamed Naji Itri. Mr. Itri was represented by
Professor Mohamed Bashir Mounajed Minister of Communications and Technology.
Many Ministers, responsible and scientists involved in the higher education,
scientific research and technology development in the founder and participating
three countries, Syria, Kuwait and Lebanon were present.
After the celebration ceremony, a special session entitled "Technology transfer in Arab countries and prospects of scientific research in the Arab world" was held and four important lectures were presented by prestigious Arab speakers.
